TMG Industrial ships orders over $1000 free for most locations across Canada and the USA lower 48 states including residential, commercial, unattended agricultural lands and construction sites. Most of our products qualify for what is called tailgate (Canada) or liftgate (USA) delivery.

What is Tailgate Delivery?

Many freight companies have trucks with a specialized rear platform called a tailgate/liftgate. This is a hydraulically operated platform that can load and unload products without having the need for docks or forklifts. This is convenient for more remote areas, residential locations or commercial facilities that don’t normally receive heavy freight.

What products are eligible?

Products from TMG Industrial with a packaging size smaller than 90” and a shipping weight under 2000 lbs are eligible for tailgate delivery. On our product pages, look under the heading “Shipping Information” near the bottom of the page and it will state whether that item is eligible for tailgate delivery.

What products are NOT eligible?

Products from TMG industrial with a packaging size bigger than 90” and/or a shipping weight over 2000 lbs are not eligible for tailgate delivery.

Is Tailgate Delivery available in my area?

It is possible that the freight carriers in your area do not offer tailgate delivery. If this is the case, we will work together to find an alternative solution so that you may still receive your products in a way that works for you.

Who should select Tailgate Delivery?

If you do not have access to a forklift or equivalent at your location, you should select to have tailgate delivery during the checkout process. If both tailgate delivery and forklift access are not available, pick up from a third-party location could be arranged. Please call us to discuss this and find a solution.

How do I choose Tailgate Delivery?

On the checkout page, be sure to tell us as much information as possible about how you would like to receive your product(s) and if you require tailgate delivery. We will work with our dedicated freight carriers to offer tailgate delivery if required.
